It always goes something like "OK I'll pay that price but you have to throw in the rims." The owner being desparate to sell says "OK" and voila: No extra money for your rims. You sell them separate from the car and you never have to compromise as you still get pretty close to the same money and still have your rims to sell or even flip over onto the Bimmer.
